Take Your Barrel From Good to Glorious

Got a barrel at home? Whether it’s tasting pretty good already or drifting a little off-course, there’s always room to polish, tweak, and elevate it to greatness. That’s where our Winemaker Barrel Consultations come in.

This is your chance to sit down, one-on-one, with a Stanton & Killeen winemaker. Together, we’ll taste, test, and tinker until your blend is not just good — but purposeful, balanced, and headed exactly where you want it to go.

What’s in the Session?

In this focused one-hour workshop, we’ll:

  • Analyse your barrel sample on the spot — straight talk, no jargon.

  • Translate the results into clear, practical terms so you know what’s happening inside.

  • Explore your flavour profile goals — whether you’re chasing richness, smoothness, or a big, bold finish.

  • Blend a tailored topping recommendation in the winemaker’s lab.

  • Map out a simple plan forward so your barrel keeps ageing with purpose.

It’s like giving your barrel its very own personal trainer, but instead of crunches and kale, we’re working with fortified wine. Much more fun and with a way more rewarding outcome!

What to Bring

Just around 250ml of your current fortified blend (a little under or over is fine). That’s enough for us to analyse, taste, and fine-tune.

The Details

  • $80 per session

  • One person per session (this is focused, not a group wine party) Exceptions if you are family or friends that own the same barrel/s.

  • Only 3 sessions per week available — spots go quickly!

  • A full hour of personalised, winemaker-led guidance.

Why Book?

Because every barrel, no matter how young or seasoned, deserves attention and expertise. Maybe yours just needs a nudge to perfection. Maybe it’s already good but could be extraordinary with the right topping and direction.

Either way, we’ll help you get there.

👉 Book Your Winemaker Barrel Consultation Today — because “pretty good” is nice, but “liquid luxury” is better.
